Periphery is a short film created by myself and fellow students during the Grand Rapids 36 hour film competition. The requirements for the challenge stated that the theme must be transformation and the film must include a key and a journey. This was one of the truest tests of my resilience as a creator. We ended up completing the film around 6am Sunday. I was the main editor on the project and spent 10 hours piecing together a rough cut and then as a group we collectively spent 6 hours finalizing the edit. This project went on to win Best Editing and was one of 24 films screened during the 2017 PBS Online Film Festival.
